Minimal Magazine is a visual-driven theme intended to be used with websites that have image-rich content.
The name comes from the theme's article focused design. Just like magazines expose reader's to a vast array of articles in an issue, this theme intends to bring site visitors into contact with much of the website's content. The minimal side of the name comes from my own bias that magazine style theme's are always coming across as crazy and cluttered, and taking the reader's attention away from the quality of content.
and text rich websites. Images should be high res and of an artistic nature. All post image sizes are expanded to cover the body of the website, or 75% of the screen on desktop and 95% of the screen on mobile.
The homepage of the site contains a grid display format with tons of areas to display content. Content is sorted in sections by the Blogger feature widget, the Blogger popular posts widget, and the blog feed itself, sorted by most recent. The images used in all of these are the first image encountered in the post body. So be sure to display the image you want used a thumbnail first in the post body.
This is the page that gives info on the theme :)
